Tree Trimming by Calhoun County

The Calhoun County Road Department informed us that they received a federal safety grant and will be removing trees in areas with a high crash history on Meachem Road between Uldriks and M-37/ The work will likely take two weeks do complete,  depending upon weather. Several temporary traffic signals will be installed on Monday October 31st and actual work should begin on Tuesday November 1st.  Homeowners have been notified by mailers left on front doors which included information about calling the County Road Dept. if they wish to keep any of the wood from the removal.
